Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Precision Diagnosis and Therapy for Major Gynecological Diseases Held the 2022 Annual Academic Conference

On February 21, Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Precision Diagnosis and Therapy for Major Gynecological Diseases held the 2022 annual academic conference. Academician Ma Ding, Director of the Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory, Academician Wu Tangchun, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory, Professor Kong Beihua of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Professor Wang Shixuan of Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Zhou Jinhong, a second-level researcher of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University Xia Biaoquan, Director of the Hospital Management Office, Cheng Shuxi, Vice President of Zhejiang University Institute of Science and Technology, and other experts, leaders and laboratory related personnel attended the on-site meeting. Professor Xie Xing, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of the Laboratory, Professor Xu Huixiong and Professor Zhou Guangbiao, members of the Committee, attended the online meeting. The meeting was presided over by Professor Wang Hui, Director of the Key Laboratory. 

Professor Lv Weiguo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Women’s Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the supporting units. He pointed out that, as the construction unit of the National Women’s Regional Medical Center, Zhejiang University Women's Hospital has always been with the motherland, breathing together, sharing destiny and seeking development. The accreditation of the provincial key laboratory is invaluable for the integration of the hospital's discipline development and will significantly reinforce the hospital's strength in clinical research on major gynecological diseases. In the future construction, the hospital will be obliged to shoulder its responsibility and mission, adhere to the principle of "facing the health of the people", and devote itself to building the laboratory into a high-end R&D platform with distinctive features, outstanding original achievements, and international advanced level, and contributes to the realization of high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and acceleration of the construction of the world's important talent center and innovation highland.

Zhou Jinhong, second-level investigator of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Xia Biaoquan, Director of the Management Office of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Academician Ma Ding, director of the laboratory's academic committee, extended warm congratulations on the successful identification of the laboratory. They pointed out that they hope the key laboratory will continue to improve the strategic management and sharpen the direction of scientific research, aiming at major breakthroughs in attracting and cultivating talents, organizing and implementing national-level major projects; as well as to continuously strengthen the integration of medicine, industry and information and collaborative innovation, realize the full sharing and effective docking of clinical resources, nurture a large multidisciplinary scientific research team, and create a good scientific research ecological environment.

Finally, Professor Wang Hui expressed his sincere thanks to all the participating experts. The laboratory will take the approval of the key laboratory as an opportunity to build a high-level national gynecological major disease scientific research platform with hospital characteristics, and promote the future development of the hospital towards a new journey of higher quality, more excellence, more respect and more dreams.
